It is really organized and helpful. It is a great place for people who have children in the district 428 (dekalb). The drive through system is great, also you can order online what you would like to have in your lovingly hand crafted (and might I add nutritional) food box. Even if you didn’t order online you can still get a box. The boxes include breakfast, dinner, lunch, and snacks. Even before the drive through and COVID-19, they were still going good. Everyone wears masks all the time too. The volunteers and worker work really hard and good to make sure all family’s in the dekalb school district have enough to eat at home. Furthermore, the food is high quality and healthy for kids. They don’t just give food though, also home supplies for people. To conclude, my favorite thing about the Barb Food Mart is their innovative-ness. Their ability’s to change their whole style due to COVID-19 (and might I say it was very successful too) was very impressive Barb Food Mart is probably one of the best food pantries in dekalb county. FIVE STARS!!!
