Catholic Charities was there for me when I needed assistance. I had a financial hardship due to COVID-19, and they assisted with my rent and provided a very generous Thanksgiving basket as well. I definitely recommend them if you are in need of rent/mortgage/utility assistance! They also have a food pantry in their East Chicago location.

Unfortunately, we normally do not assist with car repair. I would recommend you reach out to NWICA also known as 211 for possible resources.

We have some very limited funding available if you were directly affected by COVID-19 and have documentation of that hardship. I would also recommend your Township Trustee and 211 as possible resources.
