I was told I could not bring anything else to drop off to a resident after dropping off clothes and picking up items that he could not have. I was turned away the third time by a woman with a missing tooth and some thick glasses. She came out before I got out my car and said that someone else BESIDES me had to drop it off I live on the far Southside. I felt as if that was very discriminatory. As a ATC they should try to help their residents return to the world and not block the only support system they may have because of personal preferences. I was then told by another person that this is not true and ridiculous. The staff was very rude and bands together I heard them talking about me behind my back about a dress I had on. They threw money back at me saying he could not have more than a certain amount which I understand and that it has to be in a money order. Well how am I gonna bring a money order if I’m not allowed to bring anything else? If I could give them 0 stars I would. They also told the resident that they did not like me which is very unprofessional.

I work here so I'm a little biased. Some of these guys leave here with well paying jobs. That's if they're ready to change from these streets.

The most they can take is 20% the inmate gets the rest in their account but if you make over 500 dollars or more the most they can take is 100 dollars for anything over 500 the 20% is basically you paying rent basically room and board from staying there it's how they fund the work release program
Yeah we are open but he would have to go downtown to 571 w Jackson north lawndale is a work release center
Could l send western union
If they have a tv they can use that twin soze sheets. I am on my way to take id znd birth certificate so he can get id with that address on it for job and more money. I don't know why they don't let them know what they need ahead of time.
Where can they get housing
No point in sending letters their it's a transition center take her to his visting days they get visits twice a week
Your best bet is to find a church in your neighborhood. You should do the service at a place where people don't have attitudes or look at others as the lower class because of a mistake you made. And believe me they have really bad attitudes here.
