My son has been sick since the beginning of August with an on and off cold/cough. We took him here tonight because the one in McHenry is over to our usual weight and they told us that it was an upper respiratory infection and to just wait it out for about 2 to 3 weeks so at what point do I need to seek medical attention at the time when he eventually comes down with bronchitis and ends up going into the emergency room because he can’t breathe my son is suffering and I chose to take him here which I will never ever ever ever ever be coming back to this horrible medical place in the future I would rather wait over two hours to get better medical attention. What’s worse is they even did a Covid test and it came back negative and if they’re doing nothing I don’t want to be even billed for anything in this visit and I will be contesting this bill once it comes in the mail.

For years I've brought myself and family when needed. This last time was such a disappointment. I walked in around 5pm with 2 kids that had fevers over 100. One was at 103. I was told it was by appt only. There was one appt available but 2 1/2 hours later. I'm sorry I'm not going home and having to come back hours later and for only one of my kids to be seen. The whole point of immediate care is to be able to walk-in. It was also great to walk in and not even being noticied by the first receptionist who was playing on her cell phone. Went to Advocate where we were welcomed when we first walked in and seen right away. We were out in about 45mins. With both my kids being seen.

I don’t know why this place gets such bad ratings. I have visited Northwestern Medicine Immediate care multiple times and the staff is absolutely the greatest! Professional, courteous and efficient. Highly recommend!

I would give 0 stars if I could, I woke up with what feels like I threw my back out. I went to the immediate care, and the first thing the doctor said to me is “We don’t prescribe narcotics”, okay? That’s not why I’m here, I just wanted some kind of advice on how to handle my back pain since I have an infant to carry. She gave me muscle relaxers and my sister took a look and said the dosage is so low it’s not going to do anything. She gave me a lower dosage than kids get for the same medication, I looked it up and She put me down for less than 1/4 of the dosage. I’ve been in pain for two days and she did nothing to help.

Huntley?? I would call. I did use the lab at MOB 1 on a Saturday but it was a scheduled test. Immediate Care may not have access to your orders??
It can be performed on the first floor in the same building.
