I am not normally a fan of these online courses as I tend to lose interest in them quite quickly. However, this course made sure you were engaged the whole time from start to finish. Really high quality teachers have been hired to teach. Really practical useful lessons that can be directly taken into the classroom. I had bought another previous TEFL course which was also rated quite highly and didn't manage to complete it as I lost interest. This by far was the most engaging and quality course. Worth the extra money invested especially for the extra perks of lifetime job guidance and support after!

Update (.5 stars): This place is an expensive joke. It didn't help me get a job. I trashed $1.4K. The job I wanted didn't hire me, the other 2 jobs I did get didn't even acknowledge it's existence. The class didn't at all prepare me for actual teaching in any way shape or form. Other than their YouTube channel (which is free) I haven't made use of anything from this company. Now that I've moved abroad, I don't really use that either. I do like their instagram though, so .5 stars for that. Original (5 stars): The price is pretty steep. That said, if you want an accredited academy with a blog that can help you easily decide that this is the best place to get your TEFL, this is the place to go. I looked up which TEFL academy is the best and ITA always ranked among the top three in almost every outside article. Having seen the name popup as much as I did, I knew this was the right choice for me. Read their blogs, join their webcasts, sign up for the in person or online course, and join the alumni groups. Trust me, the alumni groups are beyond useful.

A wonderful experience. They are on top of being in touch, they always have a good answer, and no one ever is "annoyed." After that the content is broken down into bite-size pieces, but for me, they were very big bites. Despite my frustrations, they were always there to talk me through it. My niece recommended them to me. She was 22 and also loved it. I am not 22.

TEFL doesn’t allow you to withdraw from the course with a full refund if you decide a few weeks in that it’s not the right fit for you. Of course, they have a refund policy to ensure they can keep your money. And of course, their advisors will convince you that this is the best decision of your life so that they can take your money. They only allow refunds (never a full refund) before the start of the course. So I encourage people to decide whether or not this is the avenue they want to take before paying anything. Take months to research the program excessively first. Make sure it’s meant for you. Otherwise, you’re throwing away your money. When I emailed student affairs with my concerns, they deflected my questions and placed all of the blame on me and my admissions advisor. Now I am forced to complete a course that I’ve come to realize isn’t the right fit for me so that the over a thousand dollars I paid won't go to waste.

Study Visas are technically required which we are not able to provide. Immigration will ask you your reason for entry to get a visa to the US. You may be more inclined to take our Online class or one of our TEFL classes in other countries around the world.
