I've been here almost a year and all I have so say is, if you can afford it DO NOT move here. I got a classic unit, and could write an essay at this point on everything that has gone wrong. It's one thing to be old and outdated, but it's dirty, gross, and falling apart. When I first moved in, one of the first things I noticed was the inside of the washing machine covered in black gunk. Maintenance didn't do anything about it... I had to clean it muself. That same stuff is now one of many reasons I'm moving out. It's growing on the faucet in the bathtub, and bathroom sink. I've had to migrate to the kitchen to brush my teeth. It's so gross. This is not a healthy environment to make your home.

If you are planning to move here, don’t. Pros: pool, fireplace (they want clean), washer and dryer in unit, outdated workout center (never has cleaning supply spray bottles or wipes), and lawn care. Schools are close by. (Mill street and NNHS), garage space rentals ($100/a month), you can grill on the balcony. Cons: Serious leaky pipe issues and poor ventilation (you can dust every day and it will never look that way), serious mold issues through the unit, maintenance work orders take months to complete. The rental team all the way up to high management in schaumberg, Retaliate.(ie remove you off the email roster and u will receive no updates apartment complex updates). No annual apartment unit update Incentive to resign your lease. (i.e paint an accent wall, new light fixtures, carpet cleaning, wood floor upgrade).

My husband and I lived in our apartment along with my stepson almost 5 or 6 years. At first it was convenient cause we needed a place like asap but as we stayed longer it was harder to get a hold of management I understand there has been a few changes since we left but the main reason we left was because of the black mold. We came friends with our neighbors around them and they had the same issue's. In fact one of our neighbors bathrooms ceiling was covered with black mold. All maintenance did was wash it with bleach water. Our Apartment had the same issue in our bathroom and once we saw a spot growing in my step sons room we knew we had to leave. Obviously you guys have a mold situation. You need to put your tenants up in a hotel for a weekend and get to the bottom of the mold problem
