The building's beautiful both inside and outside. They play music with their bells after service, which are delightful. There's a little public library in the courtyard for the community, which is always well stocked.

My Mom and Dad met for the first time here at this church, during a USO dance during WWII. Mom was sitting on the concrete bench in the hall near the chapel. Dad and two other guys came over and asked her to dance and she picked Dad. We recreated the moment on their 50th anniversary. Concrete bench was still there and they couldn't hold back their tears of joy and love.

Is this church now closed?? Has the concert that was scheduled there tonight (Friday April 27} been scheduled at a different church or scheduled on a different date or time? If this is true, I would really love to know about the change. Please!

The church is open even though the outward appearance may lead you to think otherwise. Tuckpointing is in progress. The concert did take place as advertised.
