I literally found this church by driving down Madison street in Maywood. The minister and the worship service were nice enough to say that I will return the following Sunday for worship service.

Very traditional with few opportunities for spiritual growth. Pastor is untouchable and doesn’t greet the members as he is surrounded by security. No choir, only one songstress. It literally takes 15 minutes to have people walk around to deposit their tithes and offerings in front of church. The pastor asks you to turn to your neighbor and say something many times during his sermon and at the end he asks you to raise your hand if you’re saved and to look around to see whose hand is not raised and he tells them this may be your last time and says you won’t find a better church than Rock of Ages…. I’m up to the challenge. Do better.

Discipleship classes are classes on various subjects...marriage , OVERCOMING grief etc.! Foundation of the Faith classes are basic.."this is what we believe as Christians classes!
