Ultimate transit hub for the salt lake area. Frontrunner stops here and you can connect with the blue line for access to downtown, and a bunch of other places. It also has a bunch of UTA bus routes and Greyhound buses to southern utah. There's also an amtrak that stops here if you are into 50 hour train rides.

You can breath a different air in Utah. You will know the minute the train gets there by just feeling a diffent vibe of the area.

Open and spacious station with great connection between commuter trains (Frontrunner, light rail (Trax), and buses. No climatized waiting area. The adjacent platforms serve Amtrak’s Intercity long distance trains.

If you stay on the platforms and in the bus shelters yes. Don't go into the Greyhound station (you won't be able to use the bathroom anyway.) Don't leave the transit center unless you know the area and can handle yourself.
There is a parking lot across the street to the east where you can park
You'll have to look at UTAs website
Yes you can, over on the UTA/Utah Transit Authority side
I believe what you want to look for is UTA FrontRunner. Amtrak is limited running through Provo.
Most rental places are closed at that time. Uber/Lyft/Taxi would probably be the only options you'd have to get to the train station.
I would give yourself plenty of time. Frontrunner runs once an hour on Saturday. You then will need to transfer to the green line to the airport at the North Temple Station. From there you have to catch one of their shuttles up to the terminal because the trax is going all the way into the terminal right now. I think a better question is what time is your flight and go from there
Not sure about cars but the frontrunner only runs mon thru sat and it's only one time per hour starting at like 5am and stops at like 9pm. The trax that run around the city is open 7 days a week but they stop twice an hour at each stop starting around 5am and ending around 11 PM.
GO TO THE GREYHOUND BUS STATION AND BUY THE TRAIN TICKETS.
