During my stay at Life Care in Plano, Tx. I spent most of my time with the rehabilitation dept. From the Director and her staff on down I found them consistently professional and extremely helpful. They genuinely cared about the health of their patients and that was such a good way to approach my rehab.

This place is Garbage. Do Not leave your Loved ones here.

My son has been at this facility for several weeks now. He has been in the hospital for over a year and this is his 5th facility. After so many surgeries and so many ups and downs emotionally this place has been a blessing. Because of the distance and other family issues we have not be able to visit like we would like and I am never worried that he is not being taken care of. As a mother whom has seen her child almost die in the last 14 months, more than once having a LTAC that you can trust us a blessing.

I have been a caregiver for my Mom and Dad for the last 7 years. My Dad passed away from Dementia last year and my Mom also broke both her hips after falling multiple times over a 4 month period. I have been in and dealt with at least 6-8 facilities like this in the past and I’ve never been more disappointed. My 82 year old mother fell and had a subdural hematoma and stitches from a fall. No nurses come when called for 30 minutes or more and today she accidentally soiled herself around 8am and called me around 10am with no assistance. I got there around 11am and a nurse was rudely cleaning her after my requests for help. I have talked to multiple staff managers and nurses and they are understaffed and don’t give proper basic care for your loved ones. They listened to my repeated ask for help and nothing changed. Do not let your parents or loved ones go there, it’s awful. Just walk through the halls and see all the lights on for help and no one there to respond. My Mom had no water and was soiled for 3 hours before I got there and demanded some help. I know it’s a very difficult job but they are understaffed and even rude to the families they are supposed to be caring for, it’s absolutely heartbreaking to see and I hope you see the facility and staff before putting your loved ones there… it’s awful-

I think your best bet would be to call and speak to the people there. When my mother was there it was covered by Medicare, but that was due to an injury. I'm sure the price depends on the services each person requires. I wish you the best
Life care provides that. Skilled nursing is very expressive. I'm in same boat
