Tried to reach several times, via email 3x attaching evidence of mold infestation in my condo and building. The ILRPP denied my rental assistance and are currently being investigated for failure to produce evidence of reasons of denial. They did refer me to this organization. I called almost a month ago, no call back ever, no emails. Trying again today as my blood and urine tests came in and I am highly ill with mold illness - CIRS. Chronic Inflammatory Response Syndrome (CIRS) is a progressive, multi-system, multi-symptom illness characterized by exposure to biotoxins. The ongoing inflammation can affect virtually any organ system of the body and if left untreated becomes debilitating. I have to start detox but unfortunately it will not have much effect as I am still living in the unit. I am currently being evicted, not served yet. However, it is dire that I move. Unfortunately, I do not have the means as I am on disability. I do not qualify for 3x rent requirement at any place, and never will because of my low earnings. Apartments are about $300 more than they were in February. Equaling to about $1800 in a lot of places. As I also have Bipolar disorder and PTSD, I am a suicide survivor and all this has triggered trauma all over again (as I was evicted once while waiting for disability for 2 years) I need additional meds to help with panic attacks and anxiety. In the end, I just want to start to feel healthy. 4 years of mold exposure has caused a lot of damage to my system and explained alot of symptoms that couldn’t be explained. I don’t know what else I can do.

I would suggest you call the location at 708-599-2237 or email [email protected] to see if they can advise you. Good luck and God bless you and your baby.
It takes 3 months to get approved so if you come apply that late in the pregnancy you will probably deliver before you get accepted for the medical card.
