Cool trail, plenty of parking. South takes you to the air force academy. North takes you to palmer lake and the county line. 100% gravel, a few minor street crossings, only a couple of technical spots.

Excellent trail to walk. I noticed many bicyclers. Nice flat trial for those who meed to simply get out for a walk/ride.

I love this trail!!!! I live nearby so i have been hiking, biking, bikepacking, and geocaching on this trail. This trail is my main highway of transportation and thats probably because its huge!!! This trail stretches from the olympic training center to greenland open space. The trailhead stops are clean and well maintained. The trail going north can be pretty boring but if you go south you are in for a roller coaster. Overall i would give this trail four stars but it holds a lot of sentimental value so ill give it 5.

Great trail for running, walking, biking, just enjoying a touch of the outdoors nearby. Very little to no litter! Seasonal bathroom facility and improved parking. Would rate it 5 stars if further away from the coal train and I-25.

I do not believe overnight parking is allowed at trailheads that do not provide camping, but I did not see any signs either way.
