How much is the train ride

Hard to find free parking here. But there is no admission charge. Parking is from $5-7 DOLLARS.

I caught an Uber for faster riding. There is also train and bus to Stockyards, but takes time.

Not a good idea with the longhorns, the carriage horses and the crowds.

If you want casual, Riscky’s BBQ or Trail Boss. A little nicer, Riscky’s Steakhouse (prices aren’t bad). More expensive... Cattlemen’s.

The cattle drives are twice daily: 11:30 am and 4:00 pm. Except on major holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas.

I'm pretty sure it doesn't. I know the train leaves the Stockyards and goes to Grapevine.

It won't be the TRE, it would be the new TexRail. You'll need to stop at the North Station and take the transfer bus to the Stockyards.

Depends on the rain like sprinkling no but to much rain causes a safety hazard. Steers and a slippery road is not a good combination 😊

I normally park along the Armour sign, it's on Packers Ave. I always find a spot there. Free parking and shaded area. Just be careful when you pack, the curb is very high and will damage your bumper if you pull in too close. Good luck
