I agree the valet parking is to far away. there is ample parking fairly close to the restaurant. I would recommend dropping off your family to get in the cue for dining and drive around the square where the fountain is located. You should find a space shortly.
I’m fairly certain you can call ahead and be able to do that.
Yes it would be very good to place reservations before major events to ensure a seat!
