Rescue shelter. They do a lot of hard work here,

We brought a fledgling blue Jay here when I found him in our yard. We donated some money to help, but also had a gift card for honey baked ham which would have been too much for just 2 of us. They gratefully accepted. Great people helping wildlife!

I don't ever see them answer here. You will have to call but I hope they do.

If there are babies take them here and they will have the best chance of survival. They are closed right now but put them in a box to keep them safe and bring in morning.
Call the main number I'm sure they will answer...
Yes, they take in all types and sizes of birds.
Yes you can!
They do not adopt out rehabilitated birds. They are released back into the wild.
Have they been rehomed
Possibly it's a juvenile? You can tell if the feathers seem messy because it still has some hatchling feathers. If so, mother is close and it will learn to fly soon. If not, it is sick and should not be touched.
When I was there people were bringing birds to the facility
They have some permanent resident birds with disability that can't be returned back to the wild,You can call them directly with your question.
Check the DFW Wildlife hotline, They can get you in touch with an appropriate rehabber
Can you get close enough to throw a bath towel over him? Can anyone help you -- sometimes if you have one person to distract the bird the other can sneak up from behind and toss a towel over it? Will animal control come out?
They do not unless it is a highly endangered species but common bird eggs waterfowl and the like are not accepted
I don't think they are able but its possible to take injured bird to Parker Bird and animal clinic. I think they pick up from them. They are located in Plano.
It is likely if it's been days since the eggs have been sat on that they are no longer viable. But I am not a professional so maybe give them a call in the morning. They were very helpful when I had a wax swing that had been injured.
Yes they will take a rooster. Any kind of bird. They are amazing!!
Rogers just does birds. Call 311 to get relocation info. My neighbor has a guy that will trap it to relocate. If you don't think it is a female w/ babies you can take it to a lake and release it in a wooded area. I have 4 that hang around my house. I like having them because they eat lots of fleas and ticks. They don't bite. Almost never have rabies. Gotta love the possum.
Take him to this wildlife center. They can help you.
I know they do birds. Not certain about squirrels. However, an emergency vet could probably tell you pretty quick if the wildlife center does.
Yes. U got to fill out an application
Hello! If you don't see mom around and it's been a few days, you should probably take it to Roger's Wildlife. They will take it and care for it.
Yes, at least they have in the past. But call to see if they can now.
You should call them instead of waiting for an answer on Google. They answer the phone directly during their opening hours and are really friendly.
Call them before hand, they will go over some questions and then most likely you will be able to take the bird in I just dropped off a fledgling I found yesterday
They only rehab birds. Get online & find a wildlife rescue. There are several in the DFW area.
I do believe it is free. I would call them to see if they can take it and ask . I think they only ask for donations. If they cannot, they can tell you of other rescues around that would.
You can try Dallas Wildlife center (214-507-0764) or, maybe DFW wildlife hotline (972-234-9453)
Take him to the center tomm at 9am
Rogers wildlife mainly deals with birds. I would suggest calling and trying to locate someone who specializes in rehabbing bunnies
They will take just about any bird, they have many ducks, take them there
Just call em. I call em all the time and they quickly answer all calls and are very nice. You could spend all day or more just waiting on responses that a simple call could answer.
They will take any creature that flies, just take it to them so they can work their magic, they are amazing!
Take it to Rogers and let them care for it properly.
They have a macaw. There are 2 smaller parrots outside. One of them talks a little and barks like a dog. All domesticated birds are adoptable. They also had a ton of parakeets when I was there. Eagles, ducks, peacocks, owls, pelicans. If you haven't been there you should. Great educational place for kids. Self tours with a small donation.
