Bale Chevrolet is not a good community citizen for the city of Little Rock, and they are not listening to the needs and rights of their Little Rock neighbors. I cannot support Bale Chevrolet based on what they are planning to do to destroy River Mountain Road in their request for a zoning change. They want to remove all the beautiful trees and green space along the bike and walking route leading down to Two Rivers Park to build a huge Car Dealership! This will ruin the look of Little Rock coming across the 430 bridge into the city, and will ruin the forested walking/biking connection to Two Rivers Park . No one wants concrete, cars, bright lights and noise in that location. Bale, please stay on Chenal or pick a better spot. There are a great number of people VERY angry with Bale for trying to ruin one of Little Rock's prettiest "natural" spots. That area needs to be acquired by the city and connected to Two Rivers Park to preserve it.

As long-time residents of the Walton Heights neighborhood, we are opposed to the proposed rezoning of the property on River Mountain Drive at the intersection of Cantrell Road and I-430. The reason for the rezoning includes building a new Bales Chevrolet car dealership and car lot, along with other office and high-rise buildings. Little Rock has invested greatly in recent years to make the city and this area in particular a valuable resource for its citizens. The River Mountain area in Little Rock is a beautiful green space that is not only valued by our local citizens, it is also the first thing that visitors to Little Rock see when driving south over the I-430 bridge. Destroying that green space in that particular area would not only be troubling to those of us who live in this area, it would be a much less attractive and welcoming sight for visitors to our city. Please find a new location to build that doesn't destroy the beauty of River Mountain.
