Fantastic bike shop! Really glad my brother in law, Keith told me about this place. Staff could not be more helpful, allowing plenty of time to check out their large selection of new and used bikes. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. Purchased a used Cannondale and love it. Just a great establishment and highly recommended for novice bike enthusiasts and seasoned riders.

Very customer service oriented! They minimized the time necessary for keeping our bikes by putting us in 'line' over the phone, then calling us when they were ready to work on them.

This experience is fresh, so buckle in. Now I cannot say anything against the friendliness or the quality or the knowledge. Even the overall vibe of the shop is great. My experience has to do with responsiveness and follow up. I recently bought a 1970’s Peugeot road bike to restore and customize. I stopped in on a Sunday 6/6/21(very convenient), asked a few questions, told them my situation and they sold me a tool to remove a crankset. I broke it down and had it all dismantled except for the cotter/clevis pin in the pedal lever. Went back on Monday, returned the tool (didn’t need it)with no problem and showed Joe my frame and my problem. He immediately got up and started to work on the issue. They had problems popping this pin out right there. I had mushroomed the pin trying, so I knew it wouldn’t be easy, but just wanted the frame bare so I could start the restore. They told me they wanted to soak the area and that they would call me. Joe told me if they cant get the pin out he has a few cranksets in his warehouse that could replace it. Made it seem like this was no big deal and could be handle with options if we couldn’t get it out. Waited til the end of that week and no call. I called the shop Saturday and the women who answered said it was soaking and they would call when they knew something. Another week went by, and another. In the interim of this I purchased another and broke it down. Ran into the same problem and brought it to a local shop. Told them the same thing, they said they would let me know. They had issues getting the pin out as well, they called me and said they were going to just take the crank off. Instead of messing around with the pin. They called me the next day and told me it was ready. $26 and I had my bike dismantled and ready to get cleaned, sanded and painted. Meanwhile I found a guy who was able to bang this pin out with a bar, vice and hammer. Oh yeah, Perkiomen still had my bike and no call. So, finally I get a phone call 6/24, at work so I could not answer. No message left, so I searched the number, found it was Perkiomen and called them back the next day. When I called they let me know that my bike was done, but could not tell me the charge. I said no big deal and that I would be in to pick it up. When I got there they were quick to help, very friendly and had to still get the price for the work. They apparently had it soaking, and they heated it and eventually ended up having to drill the pin out. Crazy amount of work, I know. But there was never any call to me if I wanted all this work done on a $90 bike. So they get the bill and ring me up. $75, It was explained by two different people why it was $75. What I don’t think they understood was that I didn’t want or need that type of work done. One shop had the crank off in less than 24 hours and a another guy banged it out for nothing. But because of the amount of work that was done by someone and them not checking If I wanted all that done I’m charged almost the price that I paid for a used, 70’s bike. Now this is a learning experience for me. This is my first 10 speed, my first restore and they were my first experience at a bike shop. Maybe I should’ve taken more responsibility following up, knowing that after 15+ days of this bike being in a shop that it was going to be more than I intended. Needless to say I most likely won’t be returning to the shop for service or whatever for the rest of my needs. It’s not a bad place and the passion for the work is there. Just thinking my situation could’ve been handled a lot better.

Brought my Fuji Altamira road bike in for the following service and Owen, service tech, provided outstanding service. He not only took care of my bike but done so with quick turnaround. He also took time explaining what he did so I highly recommend this place for service. Ask for him 1) replace PF30 bottom bracket 2) replaced crankset 3) swap out handlebar 4) true front carbon wheel, one spoke was partially bent. 5) recommended things look out for in future.
