Waiting for 1 hour line,the lady said next,then when I'm standing there she said oh i have to take lunch 😠 come on Elk River we need better service,and better attitude personal at this DMV for this nice city that is growing and growing .

Went there closed with all these signs on the window. Lady in the antique store came out and said are they CLOSED again? They were just closed 2 weeks ago because people got Covid I'm surprised we haven't gotten it.

Been to this location way more than I wanted to be just because it is local. Service is always super slow and workers are unfriendly at best. There is always more workers standing/sitting in the back not doing anything which is why it takes so long. It is a small area because they have a ton of room behind the counter for them to relax instead of work. Pack a lunch if you have to go to this location and bring a lawn chair to sit in while you wait outside forever!

You can't get a drivers lic at this dvs office. You need to go to Sherburne County office.

No. You need to make an appointment at Sherburne County courthouse for driver's licenses. This location is vehicle licensing
Walk in's only. Give yourself time. Bring a book. Make sure your phone's charged. If you've got a camp chair ya might want that too. There can be a very long line. It's a small space. Only 6 customers allowed in building at a time due to covid-19 restrictions
