Completely ridiculous. I never come here if I can possibly help it. For years (well before COVID) they have been embarrassingly understaffed. Sadly, this morning I had to come here for a special blood test, and the sample must be taken before 8:30 am because, of course, they don't perform the lab in-house. I got here at 7:15, and I don't have any confidence that my blood will be taken by 8:30. At 7:15 am, there were already eight people in line. I'm sure they're trying to get their blood work done before work. Yet, this facility has only ONE person checking people in. Each check-in takes 6-10 minutes. I'm not exaggerating -- I've timed it. Again, it's not surprising that this is a high-traffic time. But it is unacceptable to have only one prison staffing the check-in and to have such a lengthy check-in progress without an alternative (such as a kiosk, etc.). We have crying toddlers and individuals with significant medical needs standing in line for 45 minutes -- so far. Please, get it together. While COVID has exacerbated staffing problems, this is not a new issue. Let's get some self-check-in options or something. Unless, like me, you MUST come here, I advise that you choose another option -- the private facilities are so much better!!! But guess what, thi
