From the time they picked me up till the time I completed my 31 day stay I had this calming sensation pass through my body.... They made my detox and recovery so bearable that I had no worries at all..... Even after I my severe relapse they took the guilt and shame away when I had to return... So here I am clean and sober thanks to RCA...

This facility is extremely large, which I think can be a deterrent for some. In my experience, the staff takes the time and energy to get to know each and every client, and they truly care. I’ve been in treatment numerous times at various facilities, and this is one of the few where I didn’t feel overlooked. I saw a previous review saying the facility seems to care more about money than most, and I have to agree with that. The staff at the client-relation level are not included in this, but on a higher up level, money seems to take precedence over client lives. This is based on my personal experience with feeling like I wasn’t ready to leave treatment, and climbing up the corporate ladder as high as I could begging for a scholarship, just to get the boot anyway. I’m grateful for my experience regardless, and RCA Devon holds a special place in my heart.

As with many suffering from addiction, I've had several experiences with treatment facilities across Pennsylvania. Whether looking at medical care, staff congeniality, facility cleanliness, or any comfort amenities RCA is heads and tails above any treatment center. Only possible critique is the cafeteria and its inner workings. The staggered service often fails as the logistics allows for multiple groups to arrive at once creating long wait times. As for the actual food, it wasn't bad...certainly better than the diet most patients had before arrival. However the manner of service/distribution seemed inefficient wherein there wasn't a production line also creating wait time issues. Again though, nothing to write home about. Final scores: Staff, medical, facilities, cleanliness, and comfort=A Food/logistics=B+

RCA saved my life. I walked in at the absolute lowest point of my life and waked out feeling like the best version of myself (with a long road ahead of myself, of course!). RCA gave me all the materials in which I needed to help cope with my addiction. In fact, I walked out and got a tattoo that says “progress over perfection” because they made me feel that strongly about it. The RSS’s, both PES’s, Nurses, Alumni staff members all the way to the UniDine kitchen staff were all helpful during my stay. Thank you RCA for giving me another chance!! Much love.
