This was my third time going here and the flavor is always good, the potato salad is good - very flavorful… the Mac & cheese is hot or miss. Overall I would recommend the only downside is the portion size, especially of the two meat two side plate. I got brisket and sausage and literally got 4 slices of sausage in a little bowl. Definitely not the portion sizes of other BBQ places in Houston. Update: went on a Saturday at 4 pm and they were closed although they say they stay open until 8 pm

3.5-3.8 stars. Food could have been a bit hotter. Sandwich was good but could definitely improve. Sides were good, spinach was the best. The meats were actually very well done. Brisket was nice, great texture. Ribs were solid. Spicy sauce was awesome. This place could definitely be better though. If it had been hotter and they had given me some pickles, a piece of toast, and a metal fork it would be 5/5

James and I are from Knoxville Tennessee and serve Tennessee style Que. Eastern Tennessee que has strong influence from the Carolinas as we are geographically neighbors. Our Que will remind of you Carolina style as we use hickory smoke, emphasize pork and use vinegar based "tangy" sauces.
