The Tolerance or Plensa Statues is a collection of public art right off of Montrose Boulevard and Buffalo Bayou. The installation were designed by artist Jaume Plensa. He described his inspiration for this project as being the ability to live in harmony, in peace--hence the name. My favorite time to visit is at dusk or after dark, as the hollow statues light up from within. I highly recommend visiting, no good Houstonian should just pass by without ever stopping.

Sculptures are facing to the main road so I don't think the time is a restriction here. They are beautiful at night when the lights are in full effect.
