I was a walk-in, my wait time was reasonable & my nurse Crystal was WONDERFUL! I’m horrified of having blood drawn & she had me done within a minute or less. First time I ever had bloodwork done without passing out or throwing up. Thank you Crystal u were great!!

Absolutely 5 star. Perfect! Easy check in, everyone was pleasant, and a painless stick!

Every time I visit, I ask for a copy of my results be sent to me, in addition to my doctor. I rarely get a copy. A few times over the years I've called the customer service number to re-request. An automated message tells me to contact the ordering physician. This is unacceptable. I get precious little time to spend in a doctor's appointment, I don't want to waste any of it by asking for paperwork that I should already have. The doctor's office already has to generate a lot of paperwork, including scripts, test orders, and instructions in addition to an exam and discussion of the state of my health and prognosis. I think that when I specifically asked LabCorp for a copy of my test results, that they should just send them to me the first time. I have to wonder if the employees at the labs are told not to check the box to have results sent to me. If so, it puts me in mind of words like "illegal" and "malpractice" and "HIPAA violation". HIPAA Privacy Rule (the Privacy Rule) provides individuals with a legal, enforceable right to see and receive copies upon request. I believe it was in 2014 that HHS federal rule on the exchange of health data removed legal barriers that stop medical laboratories from providing lab test results directly to patients and their designees. When I ask for a copy of my results at the time of my visit, LabCorp, I would like to receive them in a timely manner without having to ask a second time. Thank you.

This was hard to decide how many stars to leave because I had a bad/good experience... Thankfully I used the Wait Where You're Comfortable program because when I was texted to come in, there was no where to sit and everyone was cramped into a small waiting room. The girl at the front desk was extremely rude! I also witnessed her yell and give an attitude to an elderly woman who was only asking for help. I was going assist the woman myself until the staff member snatched her ID out of her hand. She was extremely harsh and unprofessional. Now the phlebotomist was the complete opposite. Extremely sweet, sympathetic and was so gentle. I didn't even feel her stick me with the needle...I believe her name was Peggy. She turned my frown upside and had me smiling the whole time. Thank you, Peggy! I understand that a workplace can be busy, frustrating and you can become impatient but I don't think it's acceptable for staff to be so disrespectful to patients, especially infront of the whole waiting room.
