They had taken my tax refunds and 1 economic impact payment and not credited the money to my account. I spoke with the case worker, she has the credits for my tax refunds recorded now but the economic impact payment disappeared. Embarrassing as it is, I owe money to MN for health insurance. Living out of state my employer provided health coverage didn’t cover healthcare insurance in MN. The best option for the child’s health insurance was MN Care. At the time health insurance payments were not taken out of my paycheck because it wasn’t legally allowed due to support payments exceeded the legally allowed paycheck garnishment limit for the state I was residing in. I owe MN for the money, I am not disputing the debt. Case worker setup a very low monthly payment. The monthly payments were not being credited either. After contacting the case worker the funds got applied. The child is now 25. What I don’t understand is the correct percentage of my income was taken from my paychecks, and I still owe more. Understand twenty plus years ago I am one of the people that was garnished 100% of my wages in Hennepin County. I was given a paycheck stub with a voided check from my employer. I kept working the job even though I got no paycheck. I was eating from having a little cash income. I couldn’t pay my rent. I relocated to Chicago with only a backpack. I don’t understand why I have to pay the health insurance premium when other people with similar incomes didn’t have to pay. I accept that I have to pay. Embarrassing as it is, this is the reality of my life. I am not disputing paying the debt, I will keep paying until it is paid off. Maybe they will find that missing economic impact payment. .

My case worker Rebecca never gets back to me. I get through to the customer service line more than I get through to her. Horrible case worker and I don't think she cares at all about her job.

Horrible county & shouldn't even get 1-star. They go against their entire mission statement as they do not, even as a minimum, enforce child support orders.

I have requested 2 times my payment history.Once leaving a voice mail and once on line. What a joke.

I have tried several times to get a hold of anyone there to help. They have never lived here. I've been here for 4 years and I have no idea who this person is.
You would need to talk to someone in the court filings
If you have been to court for it then you can ask for a court order
As far as I know, no
No idea. Won't harm to ask. May be possible.
