Dr. Blanco and the staff are wonderful. I called so many dentists trying to get my permanent broken retainer fixed. Even as a new patient she got me in ASAP, was so gentle and skillful, and took care of everything needed. The staff were also very kind and professional. So excited to have found her dental practice. Highly recommend.

I found Dr. Blanco and her wonderful office by luck it felt like. I called other dentists and no one was as nice and professional as her office. I am very fearful of dentist work so finding a new dentist to help with a broken tooth was nerve wrecking. I haven’t seen a dentist in well over a decade. Luckily, Dr. Blanco was just what I needed and I feel like she did the best job giving me a crown. I barely had a tooth to work with and now I can chew on both sides thanks to her and am in no pain. I would recommend seeing her and her team. She is very knowledgeable and patient and willing to ease any fears you may have.

Sealants are helpful in both adults and children preventing cavities. This of course does not work solely on it's own, you still need good dental hygiene. Sealants are not expensive and well worth the cost. Ask your dentist if sealants are a good choice for you.

Don't each to many sugary food, bush, floss and use a mouth wash. If you have a sweet tooth and many of us do. You can also chew sugarless gum, be sure that you don't really chew hard, be gentle. The practice of what has just been mentioned will help prevent cavities, bacteria and bad breadth.

This can be a difficult thing to do. Children pick up our habits both good and bad. You may want to brush your teeth with them, make it fun, make it something that they associate with fun and they will want to do it.

Why should I go to the dentist regularly?

Blanco Dental: Carolina Blanco, DDS | Oct 18, 2021

Going to the dentist on a regular basis will cost you less money. It is easier to have preventative dental treatment than it is to only go to the dentist when you have pain. Pain is the symptom of something that is wrong and at that point the dental visit becomes a urgent dental care visit.

Call your dentist and request a prescription prior to your appointment and of course call with any questions that you may have about when to take and possible side affects.

How long will my first appointment last?

Blanco Dental: Carolina Blanco, DDS | Oct 18, 2021

This will depend greatly on what your dental needs are for the first appointment. If this is a dental emergency because you have not been to the dentist for years the time could be 1 and 1/2 hours. If this is a more routine dental visit less than 1 hour.

Do I need to arrive early for my first appointment?

Yes, there will be paperwork to fill out and information will need to be taken about the patient. Much of the paperwork can be filled out prior to the appointment, ask for new patient paperwork to be mailed to you and have it filled out before your appointment. This will give you better quality time with the dentist, you won't be rushed and you'll feel relaxed.
