Food was good, but too expensive. We go to Mexican restaurants a lot and don't go here anymore because they're too overpriced & food wasn't that hot.

This was my second time at the restaurant. I couldn't wait to bring my husband. Excellent authentic Mexican food. The people who work there are incredibly nice. It is a hidden gem in Melrose. The only thing that took me by surprise was the bill total, but if you want good food and great service you have to pay for it

It's not as easy to find lengua tacos as it should be! That alone gives this place 4 of those 5 stars, they have lengua *and* cabeza; but they'd have gotten 5 stars anyway. Great menu, great beer and Jarritos selection (they had Jarritos flavors I'd never seen! Though we all know tamarind is the best), and very nice staff.

This hole in the wall is a rip off. We went there with a group of 12 people. The waiter suggested some platter that serves 4 people. We ordered three of them. The food was mediocre and the serving sizes were not particularly generous (it was not enough to serve 4 people). Nevertheless, the bill came back at over $600 because each of these platters (again, moderate in size and mediocre in quality) was $150. I feel like that should have been disclosed prior to us ordering it. Just drive the extra 30 minutes and get better food at better prices someplace else.
