I was scared going here to ask for help because you know how government buildings are but this is the exception. They are very friendly, professional and helping here. The building was very clean and well organized. Mary McMall was extremely helpful and provided guidance with an issue I had. Thank Mary so much for your assistance!

I wait and wait and wait and wait and wait on the phone for about an hr and they just hanged up on me! And Then I leave voicemails they dont return my call I wonder what they do all day sinceThey don’t answer the phone !!!

My res. build. permits are ready to pick up, however, I have been waiting to sell my current house. The virus has made us close our business. I have about a month left before the permits expire. Can I get an extension and for how long. Thank you

Not sure how your permits are due to expire if you haven't picked them up yet. Clock starts as soon as you pick up and pay any outstanding fees. Bldg Dept is closed to public as of March 18, 2020. There's more info on their website: www.clarkcountynv.gov/building

In the county can you not have a exposed air gap? can it go under the counter top

Yes. You can apply for a residential permit online or at CC most likely you will need improvement plans of the upgrade

If you live in a master planned community you and your neighbor owns the wall. In Clark county the wall is able to be a maximum of 6'0" tall with an addition of decorative block on top. First you need to pull a permit and get a notarized letter between your neighbor and you and also the approval of hoa if needed. Good luck

The planning department can look up all permits associated with a particular address as long its within their jurisdiction. Walk in or give the planning department a call.
