Do not take your kids here. The doctor was creepily looking at my 4-year old daughter to the point my 11-year old daughter was aware. He “diagnosed” my 11-year old within 3 minutes, without speaking to her even once. He then handed us a prescription and kicked us out. I never got to speak, he asked a few questions I said yes or no to and within 5 minutes handed us a prescription. It was the most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had with any doctor.

The person in line before me at the time of my very first appointment was turned away because they were on too many medications. So that part is true. How many are too many - I'm not sure. It is also true that if you are in and out of the appointment, which was different for me because I was expecting a therapy-like session but I now understand that psychiatrist offices operate differently. So you just go in, check your meds, address any medication concerns, and leave. With all that being said, as a patient, I feel that Dr. Zedek listened to me, and did not make me fight him when advocating for myself. From the get-go, I feel that Dr. Zedek trusted me with medication and my medication feedback. He did not make me feel judged whatsoever, and my quality of life has immensely improved with treatment from Dr. Zedek. My advice would be to go in with an idea of your own assessment of your mental health, instead of just walking in like, "I have a problem, fix me."
