Anybody leaving 4 or 5 star reviews for this place is either lying for money or they are a fake account made by the owner. This place is the worst studio in the entire DMV. There are people with home studios in their basements that will give you a better quality recording and experience. This place is filthy and looks nothing like the pics. I don’t know how this place is still in business. The beats in their Beat Bar are stolen from local producers!! They will listen to people’s beats and RECREATE them to sell as their own. This place exploits the Black population in the area. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! Find a place in MD or VA even if you have to drive 20 min or catch an Uber. Again DO NOT GO HERE!!!!

The hip hop museum is so small but contains alot of good stuff jamed into a small space. Lots of memorabilia is extremely overpriced but they are making it work until they move to the new location next year in Union Square.

Hip Hop Overload. Aesthetically amazing. Great techs and awesome vibe.

I would recommend the studio if you create urban music. Good quality

You do not have to! However, should you desire something special/unique or original, I would bring it just in case. They do have a large selection of music via online and in house.
They have many different packages and studio sizes. I recommend u go there to get a feel.
