What's not to love about parking? This area has a Farmer's Market on Saturdays, so might be crowded. It is just west of the curve o' death as the Trail crosses Hwy 15, which I am happy to skip.

The parking area was nice and plentiful. However, trail access in either direction from the parking area is challenging, as there's really no trail crossing beyond a sign. There are no lights indicating people are at the crossing and there is no paint marking the road where the trail crosses. On one crossing from the parking area, the road curves on both sides of the crossing and vehicles are traveling relatively fast and there are four lanes of traffic, so it's easy to get caught between traffic, stuck in the median area. Trying to cross back and forth with a bike trailer as well as three kids on bikes was an adventure, for sure. The other crossing is narrower, traffic is slower, there's a nearby traffic light, and you can see oncoming traffic in either direction for a good distance, so crossing isn't too difficult, but there's still quite a bit of traffic and only a sign marking the crossing. There are a lot of people utilizing the trail and quite a few businesses taking advantage of those using the trail, but it appears the town's priorities are different. Paint on the street and flashing light marking the crossings shouldn't cost much.

We come here all the time to walk our dog, the people are friendly and the wildlife and the views are amazing. It's peaceful and a great place to just sit and take in Nature at it's finest.
