We ended up spending a lot of time here because it was perfect temperature and space for the kids to run and play. Bathrooms were clean and are open 24 hours.

Beautiful! Like going back in time. Very large rest area with tons of seating, benches, and covered tables. Plenty of room to let the kids get out and run! Very pretty setting, ample parking, clean restrooms.

It's really a quite large place with beautiful landscaping and nice art, but the bathrooms are absolutely disgusting. I took pictures because it was that bad. I could smell the bathrooms before I opened the door that leads to the corridor with the specified locations. When you have to go, you have to go, but I think they must be short staffed. There was a security guy sitting in his golf cart but I didn't see any other people that work on the grounds to take care of it. The doors were visibly dirty as if they were never sanitized, along with the wash stations and floors. Like the mop never gets changed out. Dirt has resided in the floors for a while, and you can tell. Again, when you have to go, you have to go, but the tax payers of Mississippi should be upset with the neglect that has fallen upon such a beautiful place. It almost seems a shell of it's former glory.

Clean and well maintained. Unfortunately, the museum and NASA exhibit center weren't open while we were there last. However, I have heard great things about both from others. We plan to check them out the next time we pass through. Recommend for your next rest break.

There aren't any camping hook-ups at the welcome center. The restrooms are always available to use but the inside shuts down. so you couldn't go inside.

Cindy we do have signs up saying no overnight parking, but because we understand how dangerous it is to continue driving when you are tired and sleepy; we will allow you to stay overnight. On behalf of the great State of Mississippi let me be the first or at least among the first to welcome you to Mississippi. I pray that you and your family will enjoy your stay or if just passing through, we invite you to check out some of our amazing amenities, I think you will be wonderfully surprised.
