Woefully under-equipped or unwilling to provide care for anything beyond writing prescriptions. "Did not have the equipment" to lance an excruciatingly swollen and painful staph/MRSA boil. Doesn't have a scalpel or local anesthetic? First urgent care I've ever seen without such basic implements. I'm not even sure what it is because the doctor did not even attempt to diagnose it, obviously a sample could not even be sent out for testing because he refused to drain it. I told him what I read online and thought it might be, and he immediately said "ok I'll prescribe an antibiotic" without any real investigation or testing. Don't come here if you have anything worse than a headache. In regards to your response, your diagnoses and handling was not correct based on the second opinion from we received from a superior Urgent Care location, and the Bethesda Butler ER we ended up having to go to. We drove to a more adequate urgent care which drained the boil and, seeing the progression of the infection line up my wife's hand, administered an antibiotic shot on-site. They also drew a line on her wrist and instructed us to go to the ER if the line progressed past that point. As it turns out, it did progress past that line by later that evening, so we went to the ER where she was administered IV antibiotics and a second antibiotic prescription. If we had been content with your half-hearted care, things could have turned out much worse for her.

Well they got me back very quickly but that's probably because they didn't actually do anything to help me so they can get people in and out. The doctor came in, I described my issue as possibly a MRSA skin infection. He did not actually look at or touch the area infected (my finger/hand.) Just sent some doxycycline to the pharmacy. When I asked if he would lance the area to relieve the intense pressure he said they didn't have the equipment to do it. We left and went to the Oxford location of Tri-Health Priority Care. The nurse there was amazing, she attempted to lance the area, she advised things I can do at home to help with pain, she noticed how quickly it had spread (because she asked if I had photos from earlier) and gave me an antibiotic shot right there in the office on top of the doxycycline the former "doctor" sent over. She also gave me instructions on what to do if it gets worse.

Excellent. Everybody is nice. I got the care I needed.

Went in Friday about 5 in the evening. Feeling really bad. They took me in did a quick appraisal and said get your butt up and get to the emergency room. I went. Got to the emergency room and they determined that I had blood clots in my lungs and leg. They sent me to another hospital and started a regime of meds. I’m glad for the job they did evaluating me and sending me to the hospital. Thanks

We do have X-Ray machine operated by x-ray technician seven days a week, no exceptions. Whenever medically indicated our provider will order the necessary x-rays. In regards to the post from Michaela Patch, you were seen in our Comprehensive Urgent Care Clinic only once, and it was in 2019 for skin condition not requiring x-rays. Can you please review your post and see weather you may have been seen in some other medical office without x-rays capability to operate 24/7.
