I had so much facial hair that made my skin look dull even though I had a fair complexion. My mom took me to Dr. Shalini and she suggested I go for laser treatment. I got 4 laser sessions at The Dermatology, Laser & Vein Center and my face looks better.

I was not satisfied with my facial skin. My makeup artist suggested that I get Botox and lip fillers. Dr. Shalini Gupta helped me with that. She is an amazing cosmetic dermatologist. The Botox and filler procedures made me look much younger and I loved it. Thank you, Dr. Shalini.

I'm a model and I've to wear makeup and look fresh at all times. Last year I started getting acne issues. They become much worse with time. I contacted Dr. Shalini and she listened to my problems carefully and did my acne treatment. Now I've got my fresh skin back.

Questions & Answers

Do you remove broken capillaries? And if so what is the approximate cost?

S Borgemenke | Oct 18, 2019
The Dermatology, Laser & Vein Center | Oct 18, 2019

Dear S, yes absolutely. Vascular lesions are an area we specialize in and get excellent results. On average you are looking at $350 for a treatment with the range being from $250 to $550 depending on the extent of vessels involved and also which of our four lasers we would need to use depending on the size of the capillaries. More than one treatment are often required for best outcomes.

Do you treat dark circles under eyes?

Karen Short | Oct 18, 2019
The Dermatology, Laser & Vein Center | Oct 18, 2019

Yes absolutely. Treatment will depend on cause of dark circles which we can examine during a consultation. Some causes include vascular congestion, pigmentation, skin laxity, hollowing, and extrusion of fat pockets causing bags and shadowing. Often a combination of treatments if best. We can be reached at 513-985-9885. Looking forward to being of help!

How much would it cost to have ultherapy on the forehead only ? Thank u

Denise Phillips | Oct 18, 2017
The Dermatology, Laser & Vein Center | Oct 18, 2019

Dear Denise, We usually discuss pricing during a complimentary consultation. Ultherapy treatments start at $1500. That would be a good average price to keep in mind for treating the forehead only. We welcome you in to see us for a consultation! Ultherapy is one of our favorite procedures . We have been using the technology since 2011 and have been overall pleased with the consistency of our results. As with any tool, administration and planning of the treatment are critical in helping to achieve the best results with that technology. Please feel to reach out to us at 513-985-9885 with any further questions and hopefully we can be of help! Best regards, Dr. Gupta

Hello Ciara. Yes, we do remove moles. Most treatments for benign moles are not covered by insurance as it would be considered a cosmetic treatment. We have a variety of procedures/lasers that give a nice cosmetic result. However, we do accept insurance and can help verify your benefits in advance. Thank you for your question!

I have sun spots on the left side of my face. I want to make sure they are not cancerous and try to see how to improve my skin

deb hamburg | Oct 17, 2020
The Dermatology, Laser & Vein Center | Oct 17, 2020

Absolutely Deb. We can check your spots first to make sure they are not suspicious. If any concern, we can biopsy and confirm via the lab. If not suspicious, we can easily improve the skin and reduce the spots with laser!

I am interested in the removal of dark sun spots from my legs. How do you charge for this treatment? Is it laser or some other means of removal? Thank you

Elaine Crable | Oct 18, 2018
The Dermatology, Laser & Vein Center | Oct 18, 2019

Hi Elaine. We remove dark sun spots using laser technology for the best cosmetic outcome. The type of brown spot before us will determine which type of laser we would use (some can be flat while others may have texture or be raised). Cost is something we can review during a consultation and will be based on extent on treatment required and the laser used. Some brown spots disappear entirely while others may require repeat treatments to either disappear entirely or fade to a lighter color. Certain sun spots can also reappear with sun exposure over time. Treatments are usually extremely satisfactory, boost self confidence, and also improve the texture and firmness of the surrounding skin as a side benefit. We welcome you in for a complimentary consultation. Best regards, Dr. Gupta
