Residential customers can dispose of old furniture at the curb on their garbage day. We also accept large loads of waste at our transfer station. Waste brought to the transfer station is weighed by the ton. The transfer station is usually not a cost effective solution for furniture and small home clean outs.

Yes, for most of the households we serve, one large item per week (including a mattress and box spring together as one item) is included with your pick up service. Place it at the curb on your normal pick up day. We always appreciate a call with a heads up for these large items, but a phone call in not required. Clean cardboard boxes are recyclable. Boxes need to flattened out. We do not accept dirty, (grease & food stained) pizza boxes. Feel free to tear off the clean parts for collection though.

Latex paint can be left out to harden. Once solid, you can place it at the curb next to your garbage can. We'll take it. We do not accept oil-based paint. It needs to be brought to a special hazardous waste center. Some villages have special yearly events to collect these hazardous wastes.
