Olga Hernandez was absolutely awesome to work with! She had us set up with the right dumpster we needed for our remodel. She was very knowledgeable and prompt in her responses. Super helpful! Highly recommend

I have been using Homewood Disposal for over 10 years. They are the most professional, attentive waste disposal company I have used in over 30 years in the construction industry. Dan Merrick and the Dispatch team are a pleasure to work with and still believe in going the extra mile for their customer. Homewoood disposal is the only company I would recommend for all of your disposal needs.

Hi D'andre, Yes, Large amounts of yard waste, including tree branches can be brought to our transfer station locations for a charge. Additional details and contact information for transfer stations at https://www.mydisposal.com/transfer-stations
Hi Maryann, We're not setup accept drop offs at this time. We do have a electronics pick up service where a special truck can be scheduled and dispatched to your location for proper electronics disposal. https://www.mydisposal.com/residential/ewasteform
Residential customers can dispose of old furniture at the curb on their garbage day. We also accept large loads of waste at our transfer station. Waste brought to the transfer station is weighed by the ton. The transfer station is usually not a cost effective solution for furniture and small home clean outs.
Homewood Disposal Service is committed to recycling and conserving our natural resources for the next generation. We sort through and prepare 600+ tons of recyclable materials each day. If our driver inspects a recycling container and determines it is contaminated with non-recyclables, they will dispose of it as garbage. Non-recyclables can hinder our recycling efforts. For more details about what can be placed in your recycling cart, please visit our website www.mydisposal.com.
Yes, for most of the households we serve, one large item per week (including a mattress and box spring together as one item) is included with your pick up service. Place it at the curb on your normal pick up day. We always appreciate a call with a heads up for these large items, but a phone call in not required. You can always give us a call to double check, or visit your custom town page on our website which includes all your town's service details.

Hi Gabe, Illinois law prohibits many used electronics (like TV's) from being disposed of in the garbage or recycling because of their components. Villages often hold special drop off days to safely collect them. We can send also sent out a special truck to your location. Charges may apply. Latex paint can be left out to harden. Once solid, you can place it at the curb next to your garbage can. We'll take it. We do not accept oil-based paint. It needs to be brought to a special hazardous waste center. Some villages have special yearly events to collect these hazardous wastes.
