All of our DURAVUE® coatings are applied in a Class 10,000 Cleanroom. The application method (flow, dip, etc.) used is determined by which produces the highest quality, most economical result for your particular application.
Yes! In demanding, high traffic environments, unprotected polycarbonate can scratch at the touch of a finger, making it a poor fit for use in many display applications without the surface protection provided by one of our DURAVUE® coatings.
TSP’s Gray Matte-finish Textured (GMT) polycarbonate for signs and displays combines the impact strength of polycarbonate sheet, with a UV-resistant surface treatment that protects it from weathering. And its gray tint provides contrast enhancement to the displayed information.
In short, Anti-Glare deals with external sources of reflection off a surface – like bright sunlight or high ambient lighting conditions – and its impact on the readability of the image or information you are trying to read. However, Anti-Reflection considers all sources, both internal and external, that accumulate to reduce the light transmitted through the display window, thereby reducing the readability of the viewed image or information.
TSP can provide durable viewing solutions for: - optoelectronic display fronts - instrument cluster panels - contrast enhancement filters - ruggedized flat panel displays - bar-code scanner windows - moving message board signs - and more
Get started by simply sending us a copy of your artwork (e-file, camera-ready artwork, sketch, etc.). From there we can move quickly to get you pre-production samples for your testing and approval. With TSP’s in-house inkjet process, we can get you into production in days vs. weeks.
As ambient light increases, contrast decreases, making display readability difficult. Reflection is the main cause of this reduced contrast, and controlling it with a contrast enhancement filter of the right color and with a glare-reducing surface coating like TSP’s DURAVUE® 2000 is essential to make it highly readable in all lighting conditions.
Absolutely, we can. TSP’s DURAVUE® 7000 High Resolution Anti-Reflective Hardcoat is an excellent addition for bar code scanner exit windows on bar code readers where higher light transmission and/or image resolution in the functional wavelengths are required. These narrow band coatings can reduce reflection to <1% per side, providing optimum transmission when scanner power consumption is limited. All scanner windows treated with DURAVUE® 7000 have the same durability as those with DURAVUE® 1000 and will withstand repeated cleanings without the scratching or smudging common to the other AR coatings on the market.
ISO 9001 is a quality management system standard that was developed by the International Organization of Standardization, which is an association of governmental and nongovernmental organizations from many countries. The ISO 9001 standard is utilized to certify quality management systems that focus on continuous improvement, customer satisfaction, and the active involvement of both management and employees in a process-based approach.
We have an About Us page on our website that delves more into who we are and what we do. Additionally, we’ve created a video recently that gives more insight if you’re a more visual/auditory-oriented person: https://youtu.be/GdXP-yQIaU4.
There is a tab at the top of every page that will direct you to our Quote Request page. Simply fill it out completely, including quantities, and we will provide you with an actionable quotation for your part.
We are located in the United States and ship internationally from our central facilities in the State of Ohio, located at 2009 Glenn Parkway, Batavia, Ohio 45103. We do not currently utilize outside sales and distribution.
We can handle AR coat jobs up to 12” x 12” in size (please consult the DURAVUE® 7000 datasheet). Larger AR parts are assessed on a case-by-case basis.
Yes and yes. We can supply you with a coated sheet or sheet blank, or supply you with a finished, fabricated flat part. We have full fabrication capabilities – lasercutting, CNC, precision saw cutting, etc. – to finish out your part so it is ready to install.
We work with rigid plastics (>0.030” thickness), polycarbonate and acrylic only, in both sheet and molded (3D) form. Note that we do not do films (<0.030” thickness).

Great question! There are several potential applications for TSP’s GMT polycarbonate including, menu boards, traffic management signs, variable or moving message signs, lighted display shelving, channel letters, and many more.
Yes. TSP DURAVUE® 1000 and 1500 hard coats combine silicone-based abrasion resistance with excellent optical clarity, resistance to chemical attack, and exceptional stability during UV light exposure. DURAVUE® 1500 can be applied to a wide variety of plastic windows, lenses, filters, and panels, including plastic sheets up to 5’ X 10’.
Utilizing TSP’s state-of-the-art inkjet UV-LED printing process, we can meet your demanding lead time requirements, for either short or long production runs, skipping the expensive and time-consuming step of plate or screen development. Print options include single or multiple colors, front or rear surface of the substrate, limited 3D printing (to 45 degrees from front facing surface), customer-supplied or TSP generated artwork and tight registration.
Absolutely. Sound dampening materials are used to reduce airborne and solid-borne noise by absorbing, blocking, dampening, and isolating sound. Depending on the application, there are several materials and composites used to achieve sound dampening. These include, but are not limited to, open-cell foams (with and without face laminates), closed-cell foams, non-woven fiber materials, plastic composites, and light metal.
Unit cost is a function of many factors, including size, thickness, material, quantity, type of coating, and in-use cosmetic acceptance criteria. By supplying us with these inputs, we can quickly provide you with a quotation.

Yes, depending on the part geometry. Location and size of lips, holes, edges, etc. will determine coating feasibility. Supply us with a sample part or part drawing and we can provide you with a quick assessment.
Rigid plastics have limited use for touchscreens, and since we only coat rigid plastics, it is unlikely that it will work for your application. We recommend that you first test to see if plastic will work, and then confirm with a coated sample from us.
