What a little gem! Very comfortable bed and pillows, great linens and comforter. Perfect amount of space for one or two people. It’s in the middle of a residential area - almost seems like a converted apartment complex. Easy late checkin process.

Positive: Clean, helpful staff, quiet location Reasonable rates The Best Beds and Pillows. Negative: Breakfast was sparse but decent. Rooms were simple but efficient.

After so many cheap close to the highway/retail area hotel/motels in my life, I found this Inn to be a breath of fresh air for budget accommodations in Boulder. The room was spacious, well appointed, very clean, and had a very comfortable, clean bed. I really liked the homey touches - a nice vanity light for the sink, a classic wooden headboard for the bed, a small library, and a guest coin operated laundry. Going by the other reviews it sounds like this place has been steadily improving - if I had to guess it was likely taken over by new owners and rejuvenated, though that is pure conjecture. I particularly liked the shared kitchen - knowing that I could prepare a home cooked meal if I wanted to was a nice touch in the travel world of microwave dinners and takeout. The location was awesome for what I was looking for, close to downtown and north Boulder, but far enough away from any main roads to not hear the drone of trucks air braking. The couple that I would guess owned it, though I haven't confirmed that, were very on top of running the place and i could tell from their conversations and thoughtfully placed signs that they put daily effort into maintenance and improvements. I worked remotely at my EST 9-5 while I was here and the internet was sufficient although not rock solid. If you have meetings that absolutely cannot be missed due to poor quality internet or the internet going out I would suggest having a hotspot for a backup, but i did not find it necessary for what I was trying to do. All in all, I have very much enjoyed my peaceful stay here, and would not hesitate to stay again.
