One of the best moments of our trip to Chicago was this tour. It was conducted by Antonio, who was a wonderful guide and proffessor, not only provides info but does it in a funny way. The tour is worth if you want to know a bit of history about the city origins and learn about the architechtural styles of the buildings.

I’ve never been on a river boat tour, nor taken an architecture tour before, and this was absolutely fantastic! The views are incredible, the information was interesting, and the tour was the perfect length in time. We went on the 75 minute tour, and our guide Patrick was incredibly insightful, witty, funny, knowledgeable, and precise. His narration and guidance on the tour made the buildings of chicago and their history come to life! He was very captivating and all of his information was very well researched. My one recommendation is to bring a blanket/BIG COAT if you’re coming anytime outside of the summer, it is very windy and cold (hence the name the Windy City haha). I will definitely come back in a few years when the city skyline has changed again.

When you walk towards Navy Pier, the boarding area is right opposite to the Uber pick up spot.
Their boats undergo routine Coast Guard inspection and are very safe.
They do have an entrance in the pier. It is very close to the entrance once you get inside.
They are still doing boat tours I believe. Loading is on Michigan avenue
Some offer food, it depends on the event organizers and if that's being offered with your ticket purchase.
Yes lots of stairs, i don't remember seeing an elevator, but that is a good question for shoreline. Boats r super easy to find. It's such a good tour.

They have snacks and drinks, but we need to buy them. They are not included in the ticket.
The dock near Willis Tower is across the street from Union Station on the Chicago River. You could use 200 S. Wacker as a GPS address to put you close to the dock. Tickets can be purchased there.
They have snacks i believe but a bar for sure. Your best bet is to go to their Facebook page and check it out. They also play great music on the ride.
