Sometime around 26 years ago I moved back to Oak Park, IL, and it did not start out well. One day as I was walking into my 'New Building, I was stopped by the Oak Park Police, They asked me where did I live and to show them some I.D. But Before I could get to my wallet, a White Lady, named (Hope) came out to where we were standing, and said: "Don't show them anything, I know that you live here, and if they (Cops) wanted to know anything more, they should talk to The Super On Site." The Cops, rolled their eyes, turn red in the face and just walked away. I knew @ that moment... This is the Place where I wanted to live! As for that Lady Hope, We became 'Close Friends' until her death 8 years ago. Drue Ferguson, 939 Washington Blvd.

This leasing company does not respect the safety or wellbeing of residents. Avoid renting with OPRC at all costs! In addition to peeling lead paint, infestations of cockroaches, ants, mice and moths, unsecure entry foyers, stolen packages, and subpar cleaning standards, they will spend money on landscaping and upgrading vacant units instead of installing safety features like cameras or properly locking doors. Maintenance staff enter apartments without permission or notice, and construction is done without consideration of existing residents (no proper notification or ventilation). CEO David Pope will make excuses or lie if issues are brought to his attention.

From start to finish, this experience was nothing less than incredible. Stephen worked through my busy schedule to make time and show me some apartments. I eventually settled and just moved in on Monday! I’m so grateful for this apartment community. Thank you again to Stephen and Jan for an incredible and seamless process.
