Stay the night of the 4th and the gentleman working the front desk was awesome. Very nice and helpful guy! Would recommend this hotel just because of him. Only downside, the next morning, housekeeping already asked us once to clean our room early in the morning and we declined. We put the do not disturb sign on the door and went to get breakfast and came back 5 minutes later to them stripping our room down about 3 hours before we were to check out. Very rude.

The only nice thing about this hotel is the lobby area very nice newly remodeled lobby. The front desk agent who was working the afternoon shift was never at the front desk always somewhere else. The service for breakfast was terrible the lady working it Chelsea not friendly at all she was also working bar and dinner very rude both times we encountered her. It was also on an employee stay. Supposed to get 50% all food we had to talk to the manager for that to happen. She said no that’s not how it works and I’m going to need you to fill out your checks for me. Mind you we’re not even done with our food and already demanding the checks. The 50% should apply to all hiltons no matter what. Also getting drinks in the bar the mixed drinks were served in a paper cup while there were glasses behind the bar. When we asked for the real glasses she said they don’t do those anymore. We also asked for plates the chef gave me real plates and Chelsea walks over and sees that I have real plates and gives me styrofoam plates “so they don’t have to do as many dishes” is what she said when I was handed the other plates. So the paper cups were probably so they didn’t have to do as many dishes. We also had problems with our tv so I called down to the front desk to have someone come help up with it they said that they didn’t have anyone to help us with that. They normally do they just weren’t here. Mind you it was a busy weekend you think they would have someone to help people with that stuff. Definitely not up to hilton standards very upset with this property and I won’t be coming back or recommend this property to anyone I know.

I only gave one star because there is no option of leaving zero stars. The front desk lady working has a terrible attitude, forces her opinion on guests, punishes innocent children for the actions of random guests she can’t control throughout her hotel. She has no problem solving strategies and is quite obviously overwhelmed with her job, in which she cannot do correctly. We will never be staying and wasting our time or money on this hotel again.

Chose this hotel because it appears nicer than others. Stayed 3 nights. Two stars due to very clean facility and excellent, helpful housekeeping staff. Some desk staff seemed aloof or disinterested. Waited between 15-20 minutes (while a friend left the hotel to purchase breakfast and returned, surprised to see me still standing there) at the abandoned front desk for assistance. Beds were noted by many of us to be very uncomfortable - too hard. Woke up with stiff back/neck. $12 breakfast is ridiculous in our time of free breakfasts (especially with the premium room prices). Many of us bought breakfasts elsewhere. To top it off, after checking out, I received email of an additional nights charge for some reason. Stopped at the east edge of GF and could not reach the desk after more than 10 phone calls over more than 30 minutes. Began driving back to the hotel before I got through to someone and was told it was a mistake and I would not be charged. Frustrating. I will not be back. Much better value in better hotels widely available in GF - which have complimentary breakfast.
