Just got ran off the road by one of your truckers. He clearly wasn't paying any attention to the drivers around him. SMH

Absentee ownership. The two brothers that own Merx are rarely there. Their biggest input to the staff is to send out monthly reminders to review them on Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn. They leave the daily operating decisions to the Operations manager. This would be normal, but the ownership doesn't back the operations manager and instead let's the narcissistic, stubborn, Safety Manager and incompetent Accounting Manager run the company. This results in NO clear direction and a pure lack of discernment. DRIVER WARNING: This company is run by the safety manager and accounting manager. Any decisions made will go against the driver 100% of the time.

I’ve been with Merx Global a little over a year now, and to be honest I don’t have anything bad to say about the company. I’m a regional driver home every weekend my dispatcher Natalie D. is awesome equipment is new great staff and fantastic mechanics. Wish I’ve found them earlier in my career I would bypass all the bs with other companies I’ve dealt with. As long as you do your job to the best of your ability your good. No micromanaging, no rush of course if you get ahead of the load and no bs. I appreciate the opportunity that Merx have afforded me.

Wait 2.5 - 4 hours regularly at shipper / receiver is norm for that outfit since they don't have their own freight they only have brokered freight .. the place could be better but theyre too busy spying on you in your truck than making improvements .. it's a mediocre company at best

Yes the company trucks are Volvos. Once your done orientation they get you towards the house within the 1st week if you didn't bring all of your things. You will average about 2800 or better weekly. I'm right about 3100 average so far for the year if I add up all my miles. If you want the miles they are here and not shy about running you.
Not that I know of but the dispatchers are really good to work with.
Dry Van's. But they keep you moving
No
