Love this place here. Great cafes, small business stores etc. nearby and great walk around this Park Ave. Also this nice parking lot… and more……the landlord is so nice and friendly. I would probably live here more years.

Parking is easy and you get an Amazon hub box for deliveries. Lighting in my room is brand new and the kitchen has like new appliances. Good for the price. Nights are quiet. No a/c in rooms so bring your own.

I’ve been living in the main Normandie building for almost a year and a half now. You honestly cannot get any better in the area for the price! I live in a fully updated studio apartment with a huge kitchen. Moving in was very easy with a utility elevator, and the property manager and leasing manager are great to work with. Jill brought my packages up to my apartment when I had Covid which was an amazing gesture! My dishwasher broke and maintenance immediately replaced it with a new one. I have also tripped the breaker twice (my fault, understandable in an older building, careful with a vacuum!) and they responded immediately. There is an Amazon locker, and if packages are too big to fit they will lock them in the leasing office outside of business hours so I am never worried about my packages getting stolen. There is also an online portal for paying rent, submitting maintenance requests, and viewing your lease agreement which is great. There is also an app for the laundry room which you can use to pay for laundry if you don’t have a washer or dryer in your unit. There are some things to note, the building itself isn’t the most handicap accessible. There’s plenty of handicap parking, but there are stairs up to the main entrance, and to get to most units via the side door in the main building. You also have to walk your trash/recycling out to the dumpster in the back of the parking lot, which can be a very far walk depending on where your unit is. Also, while the private parking is amazing and you get a guest pass, if you come home any time after 7pm the parking lot will almost always be full. Since street parking is free, very often that is full as well. Being a nurse I have to be on call for emergencies, where I have left and come home at various hours of the evening/night and had to park far away which isn’t ideal in the dark in this area. Though the lot itself is very well lit and monitored by security cameras. Overall, I absolutely love living at the Normandie! I applaud them for having great apartments in a coveted area at an appropriate price point (which is virtually impossible to find these days).
