Been here for over 6 hours. Arrived in an ambulance becuase I had a fever and a heart rate of 140 while just laying still along with a killer migraine. I was tacicardic. I asked how much longer they said there's two people ahead of me. Then 9 other names were called. Doesn't make sense. My heart feels like it's literally going to jump out of my chest and it seems like the hospital doesn't care. Ridiculous service. Follow up when I asked how much longer they said they can't give a time and that I'm not a prisoner and I'm feel to leave whenever.

This hospital is the worst! Give it time and you guys are going to have so many lawsuits against you….. when you are brought to a hospital by ambulance that means you should be looked at…. Not moved to the waiting room because you don’t have enough beds, or enough doctors….you make someone sit in the waiting room for more then 3 hrs! There were people in there for 6 hrs waiting! We waited 4 hrs before my mom was even checked out! For your sake she will be! You better hope so….. 0stars! People should learn medicine themselves because going here is not going to do you any good… don’t pay them for something they can’t do there job right.

It is a terrible situation at UR Medicine Strong Memorial Hospital. No valet parking for elderly or sick patients to get to their appointments. Parking is at a minimum, if you can find it. Not enough or accessible parking for handicapped, elderly, or ill patients to access the Cancer Center without a very long walk. Even the walk from the parking garage to the Main Desk is is excessive for someone with cancer and who is elderly.

Omg this place is a joke. Been here over 3 hours and get a different answer w every employee I speak w about my needs. The reason I came in hasn’t even been addressed and they’re forcing me to sit which affects my issues among other things.

The Peds department is awesome!
Not that I know of.
I agree my daughter keeps passing out and they keep sending her home. And the nurses in peds emergency room are nasty and rude
After 7 hours walked out.
I would call the main number, they'll be able to get you pointed in the right direction.
Of course....right away...
Just worked as of 3rd weeks. Applied thru Indeed. Takes at least a month to go thru process after offer interview. Very strict process. Unknow for under ages.
No it has a gift shop
This isn't the proper platform to recieve medical advice. Best option is to call and make an appointment with another cardiologist.
Have to call the o.b. Department , maybe social services as well
Your best course of action to get an answer about this, would be to email or phone the hospital directly
Main lobby
Yes it is

"Till 8" but they dont care u gm less in critical condition
There no good there
I see this post is from 4 yrs ago however I was diagnosed in 2002 and in 2009 both times having amazing care start to finish at Strong Wilmont cancer center and the breast clinic. Oncology radiology surgical departments were exceptional! They helped me and my family throughout my breast cancers. I couldn't have asked for better care. They are very knowledgeable and allowed me to advocate for myself. I have no complaints for either of my experiences. The staff was and is awesome! I wouldn't be here today if it hadn't been for each and everyone of them! Thank each and everyone of you! Keep up the great work!
The hospital provides a translating service for paitents.
Yes, it is a JACHO (The Joint Commission) monitored hospital. It's kind of hard to answer "how many physicians on staff" there are a lot Physicians (both MD and DO), there are also many advanced practice providers like Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners. And yes, NYS requires the Medical/clinical staff to be licensed if applicable to their specific position. (In other words, a patient care technician is not licensed, but a registered nurse must be licensed).
Yes
Not there
First It's front of hospital You have to go to ER they triage all patients
