This has got to be the worse service this government can offer someone. Between the use of voicemail jail and the inability to actually speak to someone is mind blowing. I have been attempting to speak to someone for over 2 weeks and all I get is disconnected. The voicemail prompts are not helpful because there isn't one prompt that will get me to an agent. JUST PUT A LIVE PERSON ON THE PHONE!!!!

The NJ DOL is the WORST government agency I've ever dealt with. It has been 12 weeks since I filed for Unemployment, and they just told me I need to wait another 8 or more weeks for a claims agent to do a SIMPLE signoff... I'm not the only person dealing with their absolute lack of competency. Everyone that I've spoken to that has been on UEI since Covid has told me it was going to take forever. I figured 4-6 weeks. Not nearly 20!!!!

Awful service and no one can give you a straight answer. That's if you can get anyone on the phone. You ask a simple question about benefits and they give you the run around. Keep telling me to call back or check the website for my claim status but their websites section for it is clearly down . Honestly never had to deal with anything so aggravating. Worst experience I've had with any type of government facility. The DMV seems like a well oiled machine compared to this place.
