We moved my mother to Brightview's Wellspring Village after her Alzheimer's advanced so that she could no longer stay in assisted living. It was the best decision we could have made for my mom! The team in Wellspring is absolutely amazing! They always made sure that her clothing was neat and they did her hair and put makeup on her everyday. They treated her with great respect and I will always be thankful to them for that. She was able to age and eventually pass with dignity. We looked at almost ever facility in north western NJ and truly believe that Brightview Randolph (Wellspring Village) is the the best in the area.

My mother was a resident at Brightview Randolph from October 2020 until her passing in March of 2022. We moved my mother (with Alzheimer’s) at the height of Covid19 due to the horrific care being provided by Sunrise Randolph during Covid19 including that my mother had stopped eating during lockdown which no one noticed until she had lost 50 pounds and had to be hospitalized due to kidney failure. It was with that background that we warily relocated mom. A better decision we could not have made. From our earliest interactions with the staff at Brightview we were met with well-meaning staff, friendly smiling faces and people who genuinely care for their residents. Because of my mother’s precarious health when we moved her, we decided to avail ourselves of hospice care. And due to that designation Brightview allowed access to my mother even though Brightview was still in lockdown. This allowed us to nurse mom back to health and eventually take her off hospice. I mention these changes in status and access because they were all accomplished with minimal red-tape and angst, our best decisions as family were respected and responded to by every member of staff. Staff members got to know mom’s preferences so would come get her if she didn’t show up for her typical daily exercise class. On a particularly confusing day for mom, the front desk person realized that mom was out of sorts and walked her back to her room without fanfare- I arrived and he assured me she was fine, he’d brought her to her room and made sure she was settled. Approximately 3 weeks prior to mom’s death her health took a bad turn. The decision was made to re-engage with hospice, but more than that, the staff in general seemed to keep a keen eye out for mom, checking in on her at all hours of the day and night. As it got closer to the end hospice arranged for hospital bed and wheelchair- again all accomplished with ease and minimal drama. At the very end staff tucked pillows under her sheets to make sure she didn’t roll out of bed, helped us get her into clean pjs every day, helped family get her to the bathroom or couch. In the end she passed away peacefully in her sleep, at her home, Brightview, just as we and she had hoped for. Each and every staff member at Brightview Randolph was pleasant to deal with and in many cases, an absolute joy. I can recommend Brightview Randolph without hesitation for excellent care of your loved one. They will be well cared for.

I worked there today, I bought in some music entertainment, I was impressed by the facility , very clean and saw they have lots of great activity’s, I walked in and there were three dogs visiting in the lobby, they were petting dogs for the residents to interact with, the residents were a joy to perform for and seemed very happy, real nice place

Every staff member here is great, so is the community. That being said, the current executive director Shyla was enough for us to walk away from this place. She is rude and inefficient, unprofessional. When she thought we were not listening, we heard her speak poorly about others in the building and would often make dirty faces at others.

No money down. Just monthly rate. It's a wonderful place to live.

I really don't know. You would have to contact someone who works in the main office.

Do I need an apt. or room number to send mail to a resident?

Probably not but would be likely helpful

What are the costs?

Too complex a question. Pricing is based on location in the building, the type of room that is to say, as well as the needs of the resident. They have independent living, assisted living as well as more advanced care facilities for patients with much greater mental needs. The prices vary considerably based on all those factors. You can be certain however that there will be virtually nothing under $4,000 to $5,000 a month and can easily go to $7000 or $8,000 a month. The only real way to do this is to call and make an appointment so that you go there and get all the facts. It is by the way, a fine establishment.
