4 stars because room was updated and clean, staff were warm knowledgeable and friendly .. loved outdoor space to watch birds by river but the pool area was disappointing. The pool was somewhat clean but super cold and hot tub looks like you might get a bacterial infection . If they got professionals in to fix the pool conditions I think you would have a 5 star hotel. I hate to say it but just closing the hot tub for now would be better than offering this one for health safety.

The staff at check in were very friendly and helpful. However, we were very disappointed with our stay. After arriving back to the hotel later in the evening after our event, on turning down the bed, I found a human toe nail in the bed. After calling to the front desk I was told I could come down and get a fresh set of sheets. I told her I was already dressed for bed. She then told me that security would bring some up when they had time. After waiting for fresh bedding, they sent only a top sheet. We made the best of this, but spent the night dreaming about rolling over into a disembodied toe from the nail. On check out I discussed this with the front desk. They told me that I would be awarded bonus points to cover the visit. This did not happen. Very disappointed in our stay. WOULD NOT RECOMMED THIS HOTEL!

Loved it. The rooms were clean. The location is wonderful and the water view is beautiful. I love nature. ❤️ Highly recommended. Staff was friendly and fast service. There's a bar, pool and hot tub available.

Had a traumatic experience staying at this hotel. I booked it for only one night at first but when I checked in, I informed the person who checked me in to book me for two night which she confirmed is not a problem at all. After the first day, the lady who was the supervisor gave me such a hard time regarding the issue, was really rude and condescending. I could not believe it. She said it only shows I have booked for one night only and I explained to her what happened, she said I need to come to the hotel to talk about it, she cant assist me over the phone, she said she has to talk to this other customer and cannot talk to me, she said she is not sure whether my items were taken out of the room and kept aside, and she said she is not sure whether I will get to stay one more night until I actually physically go there to talk to her. (I was visiting friends and was 45 mins away from the hotel at the time). This is while half the hotel was empty. I do not understand why this whole fuss about it. On top of that, staff were very unfriendly, no complimentary breakfast and the breakfast I ordered for extra $12 was so bad. They seem to have hired really poorly trained uncouth staff for less pay. The whole experience left a really bitter taste in my mouth. UPDATE: Spoke to the Manager who was apologetic and refunded my second day fee. He was professional and it helped a bit though I would never consider staying at this hotel again.

I don't believe so, but they do have an indoor pool & hot tube.

The hotel should be able to tell you if there's a shuttle. As far as other things to do in the area there may be some apps you can download to see what else is going on.
I do not remember a microwave, but had a refrigerator. If you contact the hotel directly they may be able to let you know if there are microwaves in any rooms. They may have kitchenette or efficiency rooms available, those would likely have microwaves.
If you Google the distance or checked MapQuest you'll have the most accurate answer. At least it'll be more accurate than asking goofballs like us
