Dr. Ebi Rowshanshad is an excellent doctor! He is very knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. He is a great communicator who listens to me as a human being not just a patient. He carefully explained everything from the diagnostic test options available and their results to treatment options as well as his professional guidance. He even helped me navigate my new insurance plan. When I go to see him I feel so comfortable I truly feel like I'm going to visit a friend. To top it off the staff in his office and are wonderful!

Unfortunately I had a horrible experience at the Hamlin urgent care today. I was a walk-in and I anticipated that I would have a wait a bit concerning I didn't have an appointment so I did so for 45 minutes, patiently and in pain. I was greeted by the receptionist who was very nice to me and could see that I was in severe pain in my mouth. She was considerate and very kind. This experience turned terrible when I was called back by the "nurse" who was an absolutely nightmare. She would ask me questions about my pain, as I would try to explain she would interrupt me... Like I said severe pain so I was upset and crying, a normal reaction right. Well said "nurse" told me and I quote "That's enough of that. You can stop crying now" And then wanted to badger me about why I didn't have a mask on my face when clearly my problem was my face and mouth. Regardless of "COVID-19" and "masks" she was completely unprofessional and absolutely unsympathetic. I must say that woman should never have become a nurse. When you specialize in the care of people, you don't treat them that way. When you clearly see that they are in pain, you don't tell them that that's enough and they should stop crying now. She clearly does not like her job or herself because if she did she would have at the least pretended to care about the patient and kept her personal opinions to herself. All I can say now is, here's a lesson to all health care providers out there. Being sympathetic is a must. Being kind is a must. I hope that this will be seen by the office and maybe this can be a teachable moment for the staff. Very disappointed in Hamlin urgent care!!!

Called them and got put on a wait list while I drove 30 minutes to get there. By the time I got there I called them to let them know I was here and the nasty lady on the phone said they were booked up. First time I tried to go here and definitely my last. They were unfriendly and definitely not looking out for anyone’s health.

The front desk is great. Mixed results about the rn. Cold, dismissive radiologist. No real doctor on staff despite being connected to a doctor's office. 2 hour wait, although they were accommodating. I was in terrible back and hip pain. Hurt to walk. I requested an MRI since I was recently in a car accident. The ER in lvhn straudsburg and st.lukes, claim they don't have one when I was brought in and I already had x-rays. The RN or nurse practitioner, I forget, said they don't issue referrals per policy. (My family doc is on vacation.) I had x-rays done of my back and hip. The radiologist was cold and had an I can't be bothered attitude. I get a call the next day. They said nothing was found. I'm like, seriously? Every x-ray I got previously shows I have spondylosis, herniated disk, lower degenerative disk. She says my spine is in good condition then used a lot of medical jargon stating this. I'm not stuipid. Someone's slacking off there and I'm still in pain. WTH is with the medical system in pa as of late?

Stay away. Find another Dr
Schedule a visit bring you paper work...and make sure your visit is with a doctor....that will speed up the process
