Chris is a nightmare. Do NOT take your pets here. Chris for 2 weeks refused to email me my pets records claiming he would print them off my next visit because it was a waste of his time to do it twice. After multiple requests I went there to get them. He was incredible rude and condescending on the phone and even worse in person. I had to argue with him to get my records. When I asked to speak with the Vet he claimed they were not there. After telling him I will no longer do business there because of him he laughed and said he would cancel my appointment, went inside forcefully shutting the door in our face. I do not trust this business. If they have nothing to hid they wouldn't refuse to give records. They quote low and charge much more after services are rendered. I will be reporting them to the BBB and filing a complaint against Chris with the Iowa Board of Veterinarian Medicine.

I have many reasons as to why I would recommend Dr. Wilson and his staff. We have a Golden and an English Bulldog and between the two and their shenanigans, we unfortunately talk to their office quite regularly. No matter who answers the phone, (usually Keena or Chris), they always take the time to listen and even if they don’t have any openings that day, they work with us to troubleshoot the issues so that we can get our puppies taken care of. GPVC came highly recommended by the family we got our Golden from and I definitely understand why. Our Golden was having some major issues with his leg and Dr. Wilson recommended we take him to Blue Pearl for a surgery consult. He ended up having a broken bone in his leg and had some issues with his ligaments and Blue Pearl was able to get it sorted for him (we hope!) Keena went out of her way just to call and check on him this morning after Blue Pearl faxed over their records. She didn’t have to do that, but she did anyway. I’ve been to vets before that felt like our animals were just a name on a chart to them, but I have never felt that way here and it is honestly just truly appreciated.
