I had an excellent service experience with Toyota of Des Moines recently for my 30,000 mile checkup. I usually take the shuttle or wait for service, but during this pandemic, I was relieved to find they had a pickup and dropoff service (and pay via app) which worked wonderfully and allowed for a contactless experience.

They bushed off my ASC extended warranty only to do the work and let someone else get paid the Lion's share... Someone's laziness is costing you a lot of potential business in terms of service, maintenance and new car sales. Hint: Toyota lovers only want Toyota workers on their cars(@ least I do)

Thanks for asking. Masks are required and if a customer doesn't have one, masks are available at the front desk. Our team is wearing masks in the dealership and because we have a large showroom we encourage social distancing even inside. We have a robust process to handle the purchase from inquiry to sale by connecting nearly 100% online, beginning with our entire in stock inventory available online, live chat with our internet sales team and we will even deliver the vehicle to a customer, within the metro. This is a question to ask the business in question. You should contact Toyota of DM directly.
I'm not sure what your really asking.? Why is the part damaged? Or why did they ask you to send it back. Take into account that your part was moved through different facilities besides Toyota of des moines and could have been damaged through the shipping process possibly. They want you to send it back in order t ok review the item and compensate your for that.
I would reccomend you call dealership.
