Brick + Mortar

This was the first time after several visits it wasn't an excellent experience. Our waitress provided poor service and the food took longer than usual. We were both starting to think about how long we were waiting considering they weren't super busy. The cocktails made by the bartender were excellent. The flavor of our food was good.

This is usually a restaurant that I enjoy visiting, but after Tuesday’s ( 8/23/22 ) visit I will reconsider future visit. I originally went it to get some food. In the process I decided to get a drink while I figured out wha I wanted to eat. I barely made it half way through my drink before I paid and left. The reason was the owner and what I assume was a partner were at the bar less than ten feet away in a heated argument over money, contracts, what the partner expected when his name was attached to a business. The argument is not what I took issue with, but dining in public in front of customer/s. It was something I considered in poor taste and would have been better suited for the privacy of an office or before/ after hours. I left because the argument being put on display for the public ruined the mood. So if you are in the mood for dinner and a terrible show Brick + Mortar might be the place for you; if not there are better places in Pittsburg to eat. That is if you want drama free dinning.
