Sammy’s in La Veta has been a wonderful experience. Although the property is an older one, the amenities could not be more perfect. It is a very quiet place. The bathhouse/laundry mat is spotless, warm and stocked well with soap, paper towels and t.p. The showers are super hot and very high pressure. There is not a spot of litter on the grounds. The RV hooks ups have been perfect and the water pressure is A+. It is a 10 min. Walk to the town of LaVeta where there are lots of cute shops and restaurants. We can’t brag enough on Sammy’s Motel, RV, bath house, laundry, restaurant (hasn’t been open since we have been here three days, but we hear it is open on weekends). It looks like they also have very large permanent trailer homes for rent too. Wonderful property that’s we hear is for sale, if anyone is looking for a new venture.

Country setting perfect. Nice n friendly people. Skip walsenburg all together. 🤩La veta has it all. Hwy 12. Off 160. 🤩 Quick pull in sites. Clean n warm rooms as well.😥 No ice machine but 24 HR store next block..😀😀 awesome pitstop in Spanish peak country..

The new owners are definitely trying to get a better environment going on. The owner is friendly and so are the staff.:) the food is so good and so is the green chili. I will always come back. And the best part is they have some really cool attractions. Pool, juke box and riding bull
